Lamont Sweeting Jr. is a 16-year-old, 6'5", 235-pound power forward/center with a passion for basketball that began at just 3 years old when his parents first put a ball in his hands.
Born to a Bahamian father and an American mother, Lamont spent his early years growing up in the Bahamas before relocating to Citra, Florida, his mother’s hometown, at age 13.
Lamont is a skilled and versatile player known for his strong footwork, team-first attitude, and love for the game. His size and athleticism, combined with his dedication and work ethic, make him a valuable asset on and off the court.

Guided by strong Christian values, Lamont approaches both basketball and life with his family, humility, and integrity. He believes in hard work, respect for others, and giving his best effort while staying grounded in his faith.

Off the court, Lamont is a big brother to his younger sibling, Logan, and remains focused on both his education and athletic goals as he works toward his dream of playing basketball at the next level.
